Connect your team's GroupMe

Swimfo can post event calls to your team's GroupMe group. You set it up once with a free “Bot ID” from GroupMe — no app to install.

Create the GroupMe bot

1. 1On a computer, go to dev.groupme.com and sign in with a GroupMe account that's an admin of your team's group.
2. 2Click Bots, then Create Bot.
3. 3Pick your team's group, name it “Swimfo,” and leave the other fields blank.
4. 4Click Submit, then copy the Bot ID it shows you.

Connect it in Swimfo

1. 1On your Coach page, find your team's card and tap GroupMe.
2. 2Paste the Bot ID and tap Save.
3. 3A test message posts to your group — if it shows up, you're connected.
